Amongst the various steps taken by the Government of Kerala towards giving the Transport sector a complete makeover, is the new 10-storied “Trans Towers” at Vazhuthacaud. Located in one of the key commercial locations in Thiruvananthapuram city, the tower, which is an office cum shopping complex, is the first high-rise building from the State Government Sector in the Capital. This glass tower accommodates the Transport Commissionerate and the Head office of Kerala Transport Development Finance Corporation.
Trans Towers is a large-scale effort at redefining the city’s idea of quality commercial spaces. With a plinth area of 8070 sq. m, this centrally air conditioned commercial complex scores on all fronts in terms of commercial value like location, design and infrastructure. Futuristic design and world-class amenities hold Trans Towers in a class of its own. Today, the complex houses renowned brands like Reliance Retail, Bata, Hutch etc. and is poised for similar high profile business associations.
Trans Towers boasts of a lower Ground floor and an upper ground floor – both commercial spaces, extra parking space in the basement floor, four lifts and facilities for a roof top restaurant and conference hall.
With the first, second and the sixth floors occupied by the Transport Sector, the remaining floors have been rented out for office as well as other commercial purposes.
