KTDFC
has entered into an agreement with M/s. Shriram
Investments Limited to disburse loans to various
Small Road Transport Operators(SRTOs) for financing
the purchase of new/used Trucks and Heavy Commercial
Vehicles. SIL will find out the prospective loanees
and after scrutinising and confirming their
repayment capacity they will recommend the loan
application to KTDFC. The loan application as
recommended above will be released on the basis of
the Coporate Guarantee of SIL and the Personal
Guarantee of the Directors of SIL. SIL will collect
the EMI from the respective loanee and repay the amount
to KTDFC on behalf of them .

SRTO Scheme for new commercial vehicles has
been launched on November 1st, 2001 by the Hon'ble
Minister for transport.

The
SRTO Scheme for used Commercial vehicles has been launched on 18th
April 2002 by the Hon'ble Minister for Transport.
